Becquart

Hello, I am
Rebecca Becquart

A Personal Assistant who prioritises people.

What I bring to the PA desk.

Having worked as a Personal Assistant for high level individuals at the University of Oxford, I am an excellent communicator and confidant. My work in this area required that I exercised tact and diplomacy which suited to maintain relationships whilst ensuring that work was moving forward. During my time at the University, I took on different responsibilities which harnessed my liaison, project management and conflict resolution skills. I provide much more than simple inbox and diary management; I bring emotional intelligence and discretion that allows you to leave your clients liaising with a person who cares.

  • Entrusted to oversee the confidential Principal interview process for an Oxford College.

  • Diplomatic relations between Oxford College Principal and Bursar.

  • Co-ordinate and deliver an onsite art exhibition for Artist in Residence at an Oxford College.

More skills.

Before working as a full time PA I had a career in events. I have over 10 years professional events experience on top of a childhood behind the scenes of live events’ organisers. My experience is primarily in live music and greenfield festivals. That said, when a creative idea comes up that needs an admin/organiser/co-ordinator, I have been able to bend my skills and work collaboratively to achieve success. Below I leave a few examples of areas of experience.

Festivals:

  • Venue management

  • Main stage management

  • Volunteer management… and ‘Control’

  • Production

  • General administration

Live events:

  • Marketing and PR

  • Box Office management and onsite Box Office

  • Project Management (start to finish)

  • Co-ordination

Working with me.

I believe that finding the right PA for you is just as important as knowing the services you need. To being this journey I will ask you for some details of your needs and then we can have a discussion about working together. If the fit feels right, we can talk about the best approach for your needs.

As I am a PA that is relationship and communication focused, I offer something deeper than a swoop in, reduce the inbox, swoop out approach. Through working with me, you will find that I give you insights that add an X-factor value. That might not be right for you, and that is ok. But where you would love to have a trusted confidant in your corner, then I am ready to listen.

Not just a Virtual Assistant. A Personal Assistant who works remotely.

  • I work remotely

  • I am freelance

  • I have a structured approach and yes, we can talk about flexibility

My story. A little bit more about me.

I absolutely adore the Arts in all forms. I love to be challenged by them and delighted by them. That said, my main passion is music. I have a hugely eclectic taste for listening. I play silver flute, usually simple folk tunes. I sing and I dance bal-folk. Drawn into the folk scene I will talk your ear off about European folk-dance and you will find me itching to get to France for a week of dancing in the summer.

Being an organiser in nature I have always been close friends with creatives and understand the drive in the creative self-employed and the challenges that come with that world.

I am from Norwich, England, originally and have spent the majority of my adult life in Oxfordshire since graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 2009.
